This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th European Workshop on Software Process Technology, EWSPT 2003, held in Helsinki, Finland in September 2003. The 12 revised full papers presented together with an extended abstract of an invited talk were carefully reviewed and selected from 25 submissions.
